Eating Animals

Reading “Eating Animals” by Jonathan Safras. Only on chapter 3, but I have a feeling that before I finish, maybe even now, I will simply know (or reconfirm) too much to continue as a status quo omnivore.

I can understand hunting for food, but not for sport. Farming for sustenance, but not solely for profit. I understand compassion, and lack thereof. I see the connections on a global level.

Taking energy in seems required for life, but we also seem to have a much greater choice of what we consume and thereby endorse – to live.
